IngentaConnect gets ahead of the game with Shibboleth 2 compliant release
IngentaConnect not only now supports Shibboleth 2 for institutions within the UK Federation, but will also maintain access for institutions on older versions, via it's OpenAthens SP authentication system. To enable Shibboleth access for your institution please contact our Customer Service team providing your Shibboleth entity ID and your IngentaConnect customer ID or administrator username.
Additional enhancements to this release include Open Access support to more clearly identify free and Open Access content to users, improved visibility of purchase and download options. The release also includes integration with RightsConnect from the Copyright Clearance Center, and also offers a 'More about this publication? / More like this' feature that shares additional information with readers, such as editorial board details and highlights related articles as recommendations.
